Welcome to Bee Content, the blog of the Wilbee Sisters.
We are Joanna Wilbee Amis and Chrissy Wilbee... sisters, friends, small business owners, and one of us is a first time Mother-to-be. We both live in Michigan, although many miles apart, and each have a business with its name based upon our family's entreprenurial namesake "The Hob Nob", our Grandfather's neighborhood grocery store which we frequented as children.
Joanna returned to our hometown in the Upper Peninsula after many years of city living. Here she resides with her husband, and anticipates the arrival of her first child this winter. When not busy running her PR Agency, Joanna can often be found on her black betty cruiser, teaching a spin class, running the trails or daydreaming about being a roller derby girl.
After spending her 20's traveling for work and chasing her dream of visiting 30 countries by her 30 birthday, Chrissy too returned to her roots in Michigan. Always a bit of nomad, she has bounced around a bit, but now calls Mid-Michigan home (for now at least), where she lives with her significant other. When not busy brewing up soap for her natural soap company, Chrissy can be found shopping the local farmer's market, visiting with friends and family or just curled up with a good book and a glass of wine.
So, that's us, and this is our place to muse about our journeys in life, love, work and all the adventures that happen in between!
